Stuffed Peppers

Directions

Cut off tops of peppers. Remove seeds & membrane.
Precook peppers in boiling, salted water 5 min.,drain.
(For crisp peppers, omit precooking. Sprinkle inside of
peppers generously w/salt) Brown meat w/onion. Add 1/2
tsp. salt & dash of pepper. Stir in tomatoes, rice, 1/2
C. water, & Worcestershire sauce. Cover; simmer 15 min.
Stir in cheese. Stuff peppers;place in 10x6x1 baking
dish. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. Serves 6.
