Cherry Squares

Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Directions
Beat together butter, sugar and eggs.
Add flour and lemon juice.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13 pan.
Spread out batter in pan.
With a knife, line out the squares in the batter.
Spoon on each square about a tablespoon of cherries and filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes (or until sides are just golden brown).
Sprinkle lightly with confectioners sugar before serving.
