Angel Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups plain flour
Directions
Cream thoroughly the margarine and shortening.
Add eggs. Mix well. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Add vanilla. Mix flour, cream of tartar and baking soda together.
Slowly add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 5 dozen.
