Choose "I" from the ISPF Primary Option Menu to display a list of all your jobs on the IOF Job List Menu. Your input, running, and output jobs will all be displayed on a single panel with different sections for each type of job. If you do not have any batch jobs on the JES queue you will receive the informational message "No Match" in top right corner of Primary Option Menu.
Jobs can be selected, cancelled, released, and modified directly from the Job List Menu by simple line commands. The list of jobs can be searched, sorted, and manipulated by primary commands. When looking at a job list, if you don't see the information you are looking for, scroll to the right.
The most important Job List line commands are:
? Display a function menu for the job. S Select the job for the IOF Job Summary. B Browse entire job. R Release job's held data sets. C Cancel the job. (Input jobs go to output. Running jobs end abnormally. Ouput jobs are purged)
Entering "S" by a job on the Job List will produce the IOF Job Summary display. The Job Information section is at the top of the display and contains information about the job that was selected. There are more fields than will fit in a single screen's width, so you will need to use the RIGHT and LEFT functions to view all of the fields. Next is the Step Information section which contains one line for each step of the job. Information such as the return code and program name of the step is displayed. The Data Set section at the bottom of the screen has one line for each sysout data set produced by the job. All sysout data set attributes are displayed to the right.
Use HELP (F1) from any IOF panel to get detailed information and command syntax.
